Niets meerSteden vol met lucht en zwaarte De regen tikt op de ruiten De zon vliegt weg en kruipt in een hoek Mijn hart draagt de uren En laat ze tikken en tikken We waren tenminste samen Ik was alleen. Maar een lach kon me nog vinden Ik loop over tegels, paden Voor mij en haar Tussen ogen en oren. A handfull of love and carkeysA handfull of love and carkeys The sun makes the rust shine The wheels just keep floating Two inches above the ground My eyes sandy, yours blue and made up A little stain of shade I turn your face and your eyes are gone Behind the brownred hair My thumb fades the shade into a larger green, I moan so happy, your smile opens and a long curl flies in My hand on the wheel, the wheels on the boiling road The heat makes the mountains shudder Sunlight sparkles on my sweat wet face You touch my cheeck, your hand sees The hairs and scars And some wrinkles of a smA handfull of love and carkeys

De straat rekt zich uit.De straat rekt zich uit De morgen is nog vroeg, de avond oud We staan onder een lantaarn Haren glijden tussen mijn hand en vingers Je lacht. Ik leef Tussen al die kleuren in je ogen Ik leun tegen de paal Het licht laat je gloeien als een heilige Schijnend glanzen je lippen in nog een lach Mijn mond vormt mee Een zoen, nog een, de minuten draaien Om ons heen en kijken vertederd Een man loopt voorbij Trekt zijn jas omhoog maar laat een glimlach zien Boven de zwarte rand van leer Ik kijk hem aan, hij kijkt om Je legt je wang op mijn borst En weDe straat rekt zich uit.
